The glossy nylon gives it the character of the classic MA-1, the rib-knit collar, cuffs and hem close it up, and the sleeve pocket takes small items.

Insulation

The padding holds warmth even at low temperatures, yet does not restrict movement and leaves room for a sweatshirt underneath. Standing still in the cold it warms just as reliably as when walking, so you do not have to take the jacket off every time the pace changes.

Pockets and organisation

The pocket layout is thought through for an ordinary day — phone and wallet stay within reach even with the jacket zipped, small items do not fall out, and what you use most often you do not have to hunt for. Zipped pockets secure the things you keep an eye on.
