Tapered trousers on a workwear base are a compromise that works in the city and outside it. Vintage Industries Lester is cut from cotton broken twill, which has a slightly more pronounced structure than ordinary twill and copes better with abrasion. The angled side pockets are easy to use even when seated and the slim fit keeps the silhouette tidy.
Hard-wearing cotton canvas
Dense, heavyweight cotton fabric takes rough treatment — leaning against a wall, working with tools and a rucksack on your back. It is firm at first, then softens after a few washes and adapts to your build.
Slim fit
The narrower cut sits close to the body and makes the piece look tidier. If you are between sizes and want a more relaxed wear or room for layering, go for the larger one.
