A softshell with a light mesh lining suits transitional weather, when it is still too early for an insulated jacket. Vintage Industries Jedd has a 5,000 mm membrane, 3,000 g/m² breathability and a water-repellent surface finish. The adjustable hood and hem tune the fit and zipped side pockets secure your things.
Waterproofing and breathability
The water column handles the rain that catches you on the way from the car as well as on a full-day hike, and the breathability moves moisture outwards so you do not overheat under the layer. It is the combination you appreciate in transitional weather, when drizzle and sunshine alternate through the day.
Protection from wind and damp
The surface finish makes water bead on the fabric and run off instead of soaking in. The dense weave also keeps the wind out, so gusty weather does not cut through the sleeves and collar.
