Tasmanian Tiger Base Pack 60 FO IRR is a durable tactical rucksack designed for extended missions, terrain movement, survival expeditions and professional use. The base capacity of 60 litres provides ample space for kit, clothing, sleeping bag and other equipment, and thanks to the roll-down snow collar you can increase capacity to approximately 75 litres.

A major advantage of this version is the designation FO – Front Opening, meaning a large front access point. In practice, this means you can access the rucksack's contents more conveniently without having to remove everything from the top. When packing kit, quickly finding clothing or accessing equipment stored in the lower part of the rucksack, this is a significantly more practical solution.

Adjustable carrying system for higher loads

The rucksack is equipped with the V2 Plus Carrying System, which allows broad adjustment of back length and stable carrying of higher loads. The removable, padded hip belt helps distribute weight during extended wear and can also be used independently as a Warrior Belt. Also practical are the side compression straps, lower section compression, attachment points for trekking poles or ice axes, antenna outlets and compatibility with hydration systems.

The front, sides and lid are equipped with the MOLLE system, so you can expand the rucksack with additional pouches, holsters or modular accessories according to the specific task. The height-adjustable and removable lid has a top pocket with quick access and loops for attaching additional equipment. Once the lid is removed, the rucksack closes with a roll-down collar that can be secured in two positions.

Durable materials with IRR treatment

The material specification is tailored for professional deployment. The rucksack uses CORDURA® 700 den IRR and T-Square Rip FD, lightweight yet highly durable polyamide fabrics with high resistance to abrasion and tearing. Materials, straps, hook-and-loop fasteners and buckles meet the requirements of the German Bundeswehr according to standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 in terms of IRR camouflage effect in the spectrum 650 – 1250 nm. The DWR treatment is additionally PFC/PFAS-free.
