Fold Aluminium
Very lightweight (470 g) foam folding sleeping mat. Thanks to the mat's rippled surface, greater comfort is achieved at a lower mat weight.
A reflective layer of reflective aluminium on the top side reflects radiated body heat and helps increase thermal comfort. If you are unsure, sleep on the "silver" side, not the other way round.
Because the mat's deformations nest into each other, we have also saved on size when packed, although it is still relatively large. On the other hand, thanks to its weight and resistance to moisture, there is no problem attaching it anywhere to the outside of your rucksack, so its volume does not limit you.
Because the mat does not inflate, it is not prone to tearing, burning or puncturing, or these damages do not affect the quality of your sleep.
Those with grey hair do not need this explained, but in addition to normal use, this mat can also be used as a sitting cushion (folded or partially unfolded), a moisture-wicking seat pad or a shortened mat with its own pillow.
IXPE Foam
IXPE foam (irradiation cross-linked polyethylene) is manufactured using high-energy cross-linking technology of polyethylene. The result is a firm and durable foam material with a long lifespan, high thermal resistance and a smooth non-absorbent surface.
The thermal resistance value is further increased by a thermo-reflective layer, which reflects heat radiated by the user back and thus reduces heat loss.
