The blade is made from Swedish stainless steel 14C28N and is tempered and hardened to 58-62 HRC in a process that gives each knife an optimal combination of properties for its intended use.
The edges of the knife are bevelled on both sides at an angle of 18° and the overall blade angle is 32°, which is typical for all Morakniv knives.

The handle is made from red Swedish birch, which was originally an alternative to the more luxurious mahogany, and has a pleasant rounded shape.
