Wet ground, night dew and unexpected rain can damage even a quality sleeping bag. The MIL-TEC Modular sleeping bag cover is the outer layer of a modular sleeping system that keeps water away from the filling. You can use it as an additional layer over your sleeping bag or on its own as a bivvy bag.

Three-layer laminate with 5,000 mm water column

The outer layer is made of 96% polyester with 4% elastane, the middle layer is a breathable polyester membrane and the inner layer is 100% polyester. In practice, this means water from outside does not penetrate, but moisture from your body is wicked away – breathability is 500 g/m² per 24 hours. The cover also provides your sleeping bag with additional thermal insulation.

Spacious cut for most sleeping bags

The cover is deliberately cut wide, so you can fit even a bulkier 4-season sleeping bag inside without compressing the filling. A two-way zip on the side allows quick entry and ventilation as needed, and wide protective flaps with press studs protect the zip from water.

PHANTOMLEAF® CIV-TEC® camouflage pattern

PHANTOMLEAF® is a camouflage concept developed in Germany. The patterns are created through digital analysis of specific terrain, and the algorithm also takes into account object movement against a changing background – camouflage thus works across a wider range of conditions than classic patterns. At the same time, the patterns are sufficiently distinct to allow identification of "own – other" within a group. The CIV-TEC® series is developed by PHANTOMLEAF® directly for MIL-TEC®.

WASP I Z1B variant

Z1B is designed for rocky deserts and alpine terrain above the tree line. Its base is built from grey and ivory tones complemented by tan, light grey, brown and dark green. It performs on open stony slopes, scree fields and in semi-arid environments with sparse vegetation, and partly in snow-covered terrain as well. It is an alternative to rock and desert patterns such as MultiCam Arid or AOR1.
