Three-person trekking tent with emphasis on internal volume – an alternative to Bird 3 with different geometry that offers more height in the central section. Husky Bizon 3 Classic is a classic version of a proven model designed for hiking, trekking and group trips.
Construction and geometry
Free-standing double-layer tent with polyamide poles that ensure stability even in wind. Outer flysheet + inner tent core – separate construction allows better air circulation and minimises condensation inside. Vestibule for storing rucksacks and cooking in bad weather.
Waterproofing and materials
Flysheet made of polyester with PU coating, waterproofing 3000 mm water column, taped seams. Floor made of sturdy nylon fabric with waterproofing 6000 mm. Classic version offers reliable protection for standard hiking conditions. Bizon has a dome-shaped geometry with higher central space – more comfortable sitting inside than Bird.

Advantages and disadvantages of Husky Bizon 3 Classic
✓ Advantages: higher internal space in the centre of the tent (more comfortable sitting and changing), space for 3 people or a couple with gear, free-standing construction, spacious vestibule.
✗ Disadvantages: dome-shaped geometry is slightly less aerodynamic than Bird (poorer wind resistance), floor waterproofing 6,000 mm for standard conditions, higher price compared to 2-person tents.
Comparison with related models
Husky Bird 3 Classic has more aerodynamic geometry – better in wind, but lower central space. Husky Bizon 4 Classic is a larger 4-person model. Bizon 3 is the better choice for comfort inside, Bird 3 for wind resistance.
