OSPREY KYTE 48 is a women's expedition trekking backpack with a volume of 48 liters, anatomically shaped for female bodies. With a weight of around 1.9 kg it offers the ventilated AirScape™ backsystem with adjustable torso, an integrated raincover and complete organization for multi-day treks. KYTE 48 is the female equivalent of the paired KESTREL 48 with narrower shoulder straps, a precise hipbelt and a shorter torso.

KYTE 48 has narrower and contoured BioStretch™ shoulder straps that do not irritate the chest, an anatomically shaped hipbelt for female hips and a shorter torso. The ventilated AirScape™ backpanel with ventilation channels reduces sweating and the adjustable torso (sliding yoke) allows customization of the back length for a precise fit.

Generous organization for multi-day treks

The backpack offers dual access to the main compartment (top + side zipper), a separate sleeping bag compartment, two stretch side pockets, a large front pocket and two zip pockets on the hipbelt. The integrated raincover is hidden in the bottom pocket. Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachments, an ice-axe loop and stretch compression straps provide versatility for different types of hikes.
