The Level 7 is an advanced winter jacket for extreme weather.
Climashield® Apex™ insulation warms even when wet
Unlike down, insulation made of synthetic fibres warms even when wet and does not clump. You can machine wash the jacket. The insulation is light, efficient, breathable and compresses well.
In the Level 7 jacket Helikon-Tex used Climashield® Apex™ insulation with a weight of 100 g/m², thicker than in the lighter models such as the Wolfhound.
Ripstop nylon gives protection and durability at low temperatures.
The fabric combines high mechanical resistance with good breathability, which matters greatly in long-lasting use in demanding conditions. It effectively shields from wind, moisture and snow without losing thermal comfort.
The Ripstop weave strengthens the fabric structure. Thanks to this, any damage to the material does not spread further, which increases the product's durability.
The outer layer is protected by a water-repellent finish
It increases resistance to dirt and to moisture penetration. Thanks to this the jacket is simpler to care for and keeps its properties longer.
Helikon-Tex refined every detail so that the Level 7 jacket performs in action.
Cuff and hem adjustment
Hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and the drawcord at the bottom let you fit the jacket to the weather.
A large, helmet-ready hood
It is adjusted with shock cords and stows in the collar, which is lined with fleece on the inside.
Two-way main YKK® zipper
It allows fast access to gear worn under the jacket and lets you regulate thermal comfort.
The Level 7 got five functional pockets that you can operate even with gloves on.
External chest pockets
Two fleece-lined pockets with dividers for a phone and small gear.
Internal chest pocket
It closes with a zipper and sits at chest height.
Internal lower pockets
Two mesh pockets that let you quickly dry wet items, for example gloves.
Helikon-Tex designed the Level 7 jacket in line with the third-generation ECWCS system.
ECWCS stands for Extended Cold Weather Clothing System, a multi-layer clothing system created with survival and work in extreme weather in mind. Each layer has a specific task: from managing moisture and heat to protecting from snow, wind and frost. The Level 7 jacket is the final layer of that system, the outermost and the warmest.
On the arms you will find hook-and-loop panels for personalizing the jacket.
