It lets you take the most important gear quickly and be ready for the first 72 hours.
The BOB backpack with a capacity of 23 litres lets you pack the set of gear you need in an emergency. Thanks to a thought-through construction and easy access to the contents you reach for the most important things fast.
A construction resistant to intensive use
It withstands frequent packing, transport of gear and contact with the ground. Helikon-Tex sewed the product from Cordura® 500D, which increases resistance to abrasion and damage. The material is covered with a DWR finish, which limits soaking and makes cleaning easier. It also used YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, which work reliably even under heavy load and in changing temperatures.
A carrying system prepared for emergencies
Carrying handles
Helikon-Tex placed them at the top, at the bottom and on the sides. Thanks to this you grab the backpack quickly and carry it in any way you like.
Quick-release, adjustable straps
You fit the backpack to your body quickly and simply. If needed you can also drop it in a flash.
Chest strap
It helps spread the weight under a heavier load and stabilizes the backpack while you move.
Removable beavertail
It can serve as an external pocket or as a standalone bag for the most important gear.
Helikon-Tex made sure of fast access and good organization of gear
The modular beavertail increases configuration options, and the external pockets give fast access to the most important things.
Full opening of the backpack
The backpack opens along its full length, which lets you see the whole contents quickly and organize gear easily.
A panel with soft hook-and-loop
It lets you attach inserts from the VIS system, for example the Pistol Holder Insert for carrying a weapon.
Pockets at the back and an organizer
They are available in the beavertail. The rear organizer in this extra bag holds three AK/AR magazines or other accessories.
MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing
It lets you attach extra pockets, organizers or a first-aid kit.
Two side pockets
They hold water bottles or other pieces of gear.
A flat bottom pocket
It is ideal for a map or documents.
Top pocket
It works for carrying glasses, a power bank or small gear.
Beavertail
In the set you will find an extra bag to mount as a beavertail. You can also use it separately.
The backpack can serve as insulation from the ground
The set includes a flat sitting mat. In an emergency you can lay the emptied backpack on the ground and use it as an extra layer insulating from cold ground. You can also turn the mat pocket inside out to increase insulation while sitting or resting in the field.
