GRAYL offers water filtration bottles. And it also offers replacement filters for them, which have a lifespan of a unique 350 cycles, or approximately 250L. The lifespan of these filters decreases when exposed to water with a high content of sediments, mud or tannins. When the filter is clean and new, it can purify water in 8 seconds. However, towards the end of the filter's lifespan it takes 25-30 seconds. That is when you know you need to replace the cartridge. You need not worry though – the filter will still purify your water even if it takes longer to clean.

How does it work? It uses ion exchange and ultra-fine activated charcoal. In doing so, it removes various waterborne pathogens, such as: bacteria, viruses or heavy metals, as well as various other impurities. At the same time it improves the clarity, odour and overall taste of your water.
