Fenix WH35RE is a safe work headlamp for explosive environments, intended for various areas with explosion risk, except underground mines. It is equipped with ATEX/IECex certification. It offers a maximum output of 280 lumens and is powered by one specially modified Li-ion battery ARB-L21-3000Ex with a capacity of 3000 mAh (included in the package), which is charged directly in the lamp via a modern USB-C connector. The practicality of the headlamp is increased by the ability to remove the light from the head holder and use it as a pocket or work light. In addition, the headlamp is equipped with a removable steel clip, so you can easily attach it to a pocket or strap. Its large switch allows easy and precise control – even with gloves on.

WH35RE has been certified with several explosion resistance certifications, including IECEx, ATEX and GRGT. Therefore this product is safe for use in explosive atmospheres classified as zones 1 and 2, as well as in areas with combustible dust classified as zones 21 and 22. This includes environments such as the oil, chemical and textile industries, firefighting, metallurgical areas, power plants and paper mills, etc.

Operation

An insulating sticker may be on the battery inside the lamp from the factory. Before first use remove it from the battery.

Turn on/off: With the headlamp off press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on into the normal output modes (General mode). With the headlamp off double press the switch quickly to turn on into the emergency modes (Extreme mode). With the headlamp on press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn off.

Switching output modes: In normal mode a single press of the switch cycles between 30 → 100 → 280 lumens. In emergency mode a single press of the switch toggles between 5 lumens and SOS.

Battery charge level indication: If the headlamp is off, a single short press of the button will turn on the battery charge level indication for 3 seconds, which is shown by colored illumination of the button:

• Solid green: 100% - 85%
• Green blinking: 85% - 50%
• Solid red: 50% - 25%
• Red blinking: 25% and below (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible)
  

Charging: Plug the charging cable into the USB adapter, then plug the adapter into the socket. Flip open the dust cover on the headlamp and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. After charging is complete replace the dust cover. During charging the indicator in the button lights red. When fully charged it lights green. Do not charge the headlamp in an explosive environment. Use the supplied charging adapter during charging to ensure safety.

Low battery warning: If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will reduce brightness to a lower step. After reaching the lowest output the battery charge level indicator will start blinking red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher output modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is almost discharged – charge it.

Five-year warranty on the headlamp and two years on the battery.
