Like the heavier All Terrain Chopper machete, slant-tip machetes are designed for cutting in any environment. European-style forward-projecting blade gives machetes explosive cutting power. Forward weight distribution makes cutting easier with the machete, but does not compromise manoeuvrability when precision cutting is needed. The blade is made from 1055 carbon steel with anti-corrosion black surface treatment. 1055 steel is tool carbon steel. Due to its carbon content and low alloy content, this shallow-hardened steel is a very strong material that is not prone to brittleness. An ergonomic polypropylene handle allows comfortable all-day use even when working in the most demanding terrain. Slant Tip machetes are available in two blade sizes: 45 cm and 53 cm. Each comes with a highly durable Cor-Ex™ sheath.
