Camalot Z4 Offsets were born from collaboration with our best traditional climbing athletes Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias and Babsi Zangerl and fulfil their dream: to have a cam with a single stem that stays rigid in your hand but flexes once placed. Look at the patented RigidFlex stem. Thanks to independently floating trigger wires, the Camalot Z4 Offsets do not flex when under tension and inserted, but once placed allow stem movement, ensuring placement that stays put and does not move under directional pull. The stem on larger sizes also uses a double-twisted cable construction that ensures even flexing in all directions, whilst the single cable construction is employed on smaller sizes to prevent over-flexing under hard trigger pull and to reduce trigger profile. Offset sizes also ensure you have the right placement on hand for all pin scars, uneven placements and irregular cracks that vastly exceed the world's perfect cracks. Thanks to similar head width as our old Camalot C3 design but with 4 lobes that are sandblasted for better grip, Z4s are not only an improvement but are also available in smaller sizes starting at No. 0, our smallest cam ever made, and ending at No. 75, allowing you to dial in a placement whether you are shooting for desert crack tips or going light and fast in the Bugs.
