Semi-static rope type A with a diameter of 11 mm developed for specialist units that use rapid abseiling and lowering in their operations. During these types of operations, the sheath of standard ropes can be damaged due to high friction in the belay device, causing the rope to heat to a high temperature. The sheath of Raider tactic rope is made from aramid, which prevents the sheath from melting at high temperatures and keeps the rope flexible and functional. The sheath ratio is lower in favour of an increased core ratio, which allows the rope to meet type A rope certification.

• Visual inspection of the rope is required before each use due to the increased sensitivity of aramid fibres to wear.
