A military T-shirt for camouflage lovers (and fans of a solid brand)

A classic cotton T-shirt with a loose fit. The panel in 6-Color Desert or Desert Night Camo recalls the military roots of the Helikon-Tex brand. The distinctive shape of T-shirts evolved at the beginning of the 20th century from the former underwear (known as a union suit). After World War II, cotton T-shirts in the shape of the letter T became very popular, thanks in part to Marlon Brando and James Dean, who wore them on screen.

Desert Night Camo

The United States Army used the Desert Night Camo military camouflage during the first Gulf War. It was designed to conceal soldiers from the enemy's night-vision devices by means of streaks and blotches that disrupt the wearer's outline. Because of the development of night-vision technology, DNC camouflage fell out of use.

6-Color Desert

The 6-Color Desert camouflage, commonly nicknamed chocolate chip, is a classic camouflage pattern developed by the U.S. military for operations in desert environments. It was introduced in the early 1980s and gained the greatest recognition during the first Gulf War. The pattern consists of a light sand background with broad streaks in light green and brown and distinctive black-and-white spots meant to mimic rocks and their shadows, hence the association with cookies containing chocolate chips.

Both camouflages have gone out of service, but they still attract the interest of users thanks to their unusual look.
