To begin, I would like to say a few words about the company Helikon-Tex, which primarily manufactures products used at the shooting range, but also in other tactical and outdoor activities. The product that caught my attention is called the HELIKON-TEX TRAINING MINI RIG. It is a product that falls into the category Helikon-Tex calls the RANGE line. The chest rig is made from CORDURA 500D NYLON material.
A little about the company
Helikon-Tex is a Polish company that manufactures clothing, footwear, and various pieces of tactical and outdoor gear. The company was founded in 1983 and is based in the town of Miękinia. Helikon-Tex manufactures a lot of quality items at affordable prices. I personally own several of their products and I cannot praise them enough in terms of quality and, especially, price.
Use in practice
As the product name suggests, this is a chest rig designed mainly for the shooting range. However, its use is quite broad. Thanks to its compactness and large amount of storage space, this chest rig can be used either as a chest bag for our wanderings in the wilderness, or as a great alternative for airsoft players who don't want a classic chest rig, but at the same time want to avoid large tactical vests. The chest rig can even be used as a platform for a plate carrier. After removing the straps, we are left with free clips that can be snapped onto the carrier.
CORDURA 500D NYLON material
This is a very durable material that Helikon-Tex uses in several of its products. The quality and durability of the material allow for rougher handling without significant signs of damage. This material is also used to manufacture equipment for armies around the world, precisely thanks to its high durability.
Parts of the chest rig
The HELIKON-TEX TRAINING MINI RIG is literally a universal rig for everyone. As I mentioned above, it is compact and modifiable, which I consider a big plus. Now let's take a look at what the rig consists of.
The whole rig is held on the body by means of H-shaped straps, which have a large hook-and-loop panel for patches on their back side. Next, I would move on to the two largest pockets. They are equipped with a pair of YKK zippers and two hook-and-loop panels for patches. The top pocket is the admin pocket, containing several organizers and one mesh pocket, which is also closed with a YKK zipper. At the front of this pocket, we find one smaller zippered pocket for various small items.
Below the admin pocket is a large universal pocket. This pocket can be used for any purpose. Inside, we find hook-and-loop panels for various types of inserts. Since this pocket is attached using the MOLLE system, it is easily removable. On both sides of the admin pocket, we find pouches, primarily intended for pistol magazines, but of course you can also put various smaller items in them. These pouches are covered with hook-and-loop flaps. These flaps can be completely removed for faster access to the pouch's contents. The four largest pouches are intended for rifle magazines. The pouches located behind the admin pocket are inserts, so they can be removed.

I have been using this chest rig for two years now and I am very satisfied with it. Another big plus is that Helikon-Tex made sure every user would be able to modify this chest rig to suit their needs.
