Never underestimate the choice of a sleeping bag, since its quality and correct selection determine whether you sleep well in nature, because it is your portable bed. Even though it is mostly about individual comfort, and everyone prefers something different, we decided to select the best sleeping bags for 2018 (according to us at Waragod.sk :)).
We tried to select models that are affordable, will not burden the family budget too much, made the best impression on us, and in our opinion belong among high-quality sleeping bags. We selected sleeping bags for long-term camping, hiking, but also for cyclists and outdoor activities, where weight plays a role in the choice.
1. HUSKY, MONTELLO SLEEPING BAG, BLUE – 9 °C
We begin our selection with a product from the Czech brand HUSKY, which, besides sleeping bags, produces various camping equipment aimed at fans of outdoor activities, hiking and camping. It focuses primarily on backpacks, tents, sleeping pads and of course also sleeping bags.
The HUSKY MONTELLO sleeping bag is a classic three-season sleeping bag, which means it is intended for overnighting from spring to autumn. It can also handle light ground frosts down to – 9 °C, so it is suitable for multi-day journeys along mountain ridges or near water, where there is greater cold during autumn and spring.
The sleeping bag is made of quality materials that guarantee sufficient comfort and thermal comfort, which is why it belongs among the best sleeping bags. The inner material is made of pleasant Soft Nylon – a synthetic fiber whose properties are strength combined with softness. Its exterior is made of Nylon Taffeta, which ensures resistance to wind and water. The main properties of this material are lightness and fluffiness. The advantage of the sleeping bag is the 4-channel hollow fiber Hollowfibre.
The Husky MONTELLO sleeping bag is supplied in a waterproof compression bag. Part of the equipment is a double-sided zipper or drawstring around the head, as well as internal drawstring around the shoulders. Other equipment includes an insulating collar, and outer and inner pockets for small items. Its only disadvantage is that it has a higher weight compared to a summer sleeping bag, namely 1760 g.

The exterior of the sleeping bag is made of Nylon Taffeta material, which ensures resistance to wind and water, which is why, in our opinion, it is the best blanket-style sleeping bag.
With this sleeping bag, you don't need to worry about discomfort, as it offers a large sleeping space even if you often turn over during sleep, and it is also suitable for larger and taller body types. It is equipped with special Husky details, such as an outer and inner pocket, reflective elements, and a drawstring around the head area. The sleeping bag is supplied in a compression bag. The manufacturer also thought of children, so this sleeping bag is also offered in a smaller version for children up to 145 cm, namely the HUSKY KIDS GALY.
3. FOX ULTRALIGHT SPACÁK ULTRA ĽAHKÝ
The FOX ULTRALIGHT ultralight sleeping bag is a sleeping bag from the German company Fox Outdoor, which, thanks to its growing expansion, is broadening its range of products from sports clothing to camping accessories, hiking gear, knives and other military supplies.
The ultra light sleeping bag is suitable for summer hiking, fishing and other leisure activities during the summer season. Thanks to its low weight of just 700 g, it is ideal for hikers and cyclists who will appreciate not only its low weight but also its small dimensions.
The outer material of the FOX ULTRALIGHT sleeping bag is made of Micro Diamond with a Ripstop finish. The Ripstop treatment of the material prevents mechanical damage, and if it does occur, it prevents the fabric from tearing further. The inside is filled with 3D Dural Downhill microfiber. The lining of the sleeping bag is made of 100% cotton.
The sleeping bag has a zipper and can be quickly and easily folded into a portable carrying bag with drawstrings. Although it is not intended for colder conditions with temperatures lower than 11 °C, it will be appreciated by everyone who engages in summer outdoor activities, where weight plays a role.

Another sleeping bag that we have selected among the best sleeping bags is from the German company Mil-Tec, which has become a key player in the field of military and outdoor equipment. Among its offerings, military clothing, rucksacks and backpacks, or tactical glasses must not be missing.
The MIL-TEC MUMMY WOODLAND sleeping bag is a quality sleeping bag suitable for the summer season for outdoor activities, hiking, fishing and other leisure activities. The mummy sleeping bag precisely follows the shape of your body, so heat does not escape, and you can tighten it to adjust the opening around the head. Compared to blanket-style sleeping bags, its weight is more than excellent.
The two-layer filling of the sleeping bag will keep you warm on colder evenings from +5 °C/+10 °C.
